The Client of Public ShareFolder was complete deinstalled. When start Outlook® I get an error message that the server cannot be connected. How can I deinstall the client completely?



There is probably still a referenc in the Outlook® profile present, on which the deinstallation has unfortunately no influence

Proceeding under Outlook® 98 or Outlook® 2000:

Start Outlook® and select under Tools -> Services

On the register card of "services" no service with name "Public ShareFolder" should be listed anymore. If yes, delete this please

Start Outlook® and select under Tools -> Addressbook -> Tool -> Options.

Please delete here all references to contact folders that was linked to a “Public Folder”.

Proceeding under Outlook® 2002 or Outlook® 2003:

Start Outlook® and select under Files / "Data -> Datafilemanagement"

No service with name "Public ShareFolder" should be listed anymore. If yes, delete this please

Close the windows „Data -> Datafilemanagement".

Start Outlook® and select under Tools -> email accounts
Select " Show or edit existing files or Addressbooks ".

Click on “Further”

Select now "Outlook®Addressbook".

Click on the button: “Change“

Please delete here all references to contact folders that was linked to a “Public Folder”.
