Tools -> Options
Tab "Mail-Services"

Deactivate the flag:
"E-Mail-Options" in the service "Internet-E-Mail".

Tab "Internet-Mail"

Deactivate the flag:
“ Local networkconnections all "xx" Minutes examine for new E-Mail”
