Quarterly IT Strategy & Planning Meeting

We will prepare a report for you annually and update it quarterly which will include a review of your systems and recommendations for the coming 1-3 years. This can be used for budgeting and planning purposes as well as to ensure that the level of support and services you are receiving is focused on the right strategic objectives for your organization.

Reporting and Documentation

One of the ways we keep your costs down is by making sure that we review monthly reports and create and maintain detailed network documentation.

  • Monthly Summary of IT Support and Systems: We will provide you with a monthly report on all the work completed by our consultants and NOC staff. We will also provide a monthly technical report on all the systems that we are monitoring for you, including an executive summary on the overall health of your network.
  • Create and maintain network documentation: We will create and maintain network documentation for you beginning with 6 key documents.

DESKTOP / LAPTOP MAINTENANCE COVERAGE

Desktops and laptop machines are used all day, every day and most small organizations do very little to proactively maintain them. At the same time employee productivity can be seriously affected if a desktop is not available to them, which ends up costing the firm money and lost productivity.

We will carry out the following preventative measures to help keep your desktops in good working order:

  • Patch management& deployment
  • Anti-Virus signature check
  • Spyware detection and removal
  • Temporary file deletion
  • Disk space/utilization check

In addition, if you have any machines that are more critical than the main stream and you need them to receive the same monitoring as a server which provides us the ability to respond if they become inaccessible.

 

Hardware & Software Inventory Management for Desktops & Laptops

Keeping track of hardware and software is an important part of managing your IT. It can help you plan and budget as well as help to ensure that you are in compliance with all of your software licensing. If you don’t have the tools in place to automatically track these things it can be a lot of work to compile this information. We can track all of your desktop hardware and software in real time and produce a report for you on a scheduled basis or at a moment’s notice if you need it.

SERVER MAINTENANCE

Proactive maintenance of servers is critical to ensure reliability, availability, and maximum longevity. As part of the Server Maintenance plan we will monitor your servers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and perform a number of schedule maintenance tasks as detailed below:

  • Monitor Servers 24x7x365: We will be alerted immediately if our systems detect issues such as low disk space or memory, high CPU utilization, service failures and more, and we will respond appropriately to rectify the situation. Our tools enable us to gather usage and trending information on your servers so we can make proactive, educated recommendations when they are approaching capacity or are reaching the end of their lifecycle.
  • Patch Management: We will keep your servers up to date with service packs and routine monthly security updates. We will ensure that the maintenance occurs on a schedule that will not disrupt your business during regular working hours.
  • Scheduled Server Maintenance: We will take care of the regular server maintenance tasks that need to be performed, including those that need to be carried out after normal business hours.
  • Server Checks: In addition to our automated monitoring and other proactive activities, one of our network operations center (NOC) staff will log in to each of your servers on a monthly basis and carry out a comprehensive hands-on health check of the system.
