Costco - More Than A Store
It is not a problem or difficulty to find a variety of different stuff under one roof – just go a department store and there you are lost in the huge choice of items for each occasion and taste.
Costco is one of those places. On the ‘fields' of its locations customers are offered merchandise ranging from baby items to auto, including but not limited to electronics, home appliances, décor, furniture, floral and grocery.
Besides its department store function Costco has some additional features which one definitely will appreciate.
To begin with – Costco and its auto program. The Costco Auto Program is ready to save its customers money, time and hassle. With more than 2,400 dealers, the Costco Auto Program has many makes and models available. The program ensures low, prearranged pricing for Costco members; huge savings on many makes and models (Acura, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, etc).
Costco Travel. Costco Travel is a wholly owned subsidiary of Costco Wholesale. Like everything Costco sells, Costco travel products offer high quality. The program includes a selection of the world's most popular vacation destinations, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, rental car companies, theme-park vacations, escorted vacations and more. Travelling with Costco, customers can enjoy everyday member savings on top-quality, brand name vacation options; no online booking fees; all package prices include taxes, so no surprises when you're ready to pay; special Kirkland Signature™ departures offering exotic destinations and unique experiences; executive Member benefits on select products, including room upgrades, shipboard credits, golf and spa credits, and other value-added extras designed specially for Costco Executive Members. The travel program is offered as a service to Costco members only.
Another positive moment for the company's members is rebates. Some Costco.com products offer a "Manufacturer's Rebate." These rebates are mailed directly to that company using a form offered on the Costco web site or on the product page.
Executive Membership 2% Reward Program implies that the payment of customer's 2% Executive Reward is automatic. There is no need to submit a request.
American Express Costco True Earnings Cash Rebate Card means that the payment of a client's American Express Costco Cash Rebate is automatic. There is no need to turn in a submission as well.
The company also issues Costco Magazine. The monthly Online Edition combines a replica of the print version with bonus content. Cover stories and popular features such as Buying Smart are extended with supplemental material. This electronic version makes the magazine easy to find, print and share articles with family and friends. A weekly Costco product newsletter including a link to the Online Edition is sent to members enrolled to receive e-mail offers from Costco.
Costco is actively investing into charity. The company accepts charitable donations from its members. Costco Charitable Contributions Committee is charged with overseeing its charitable giving and encouraging decentralization of charitable giving so that the greatest impact is where Costco's employees and members live and work. Only 501(c) (3) nonprofit organizations, which meet Costco's giving guidelines and focus areas, are considered.
