I found the disk needed to install Windows 3.1 in a case of old floppies.
Please, no "install windows XP/Vista/ect" this is just a question of curiousity, as to if such an old operating system could be installed on a core 2 duo and/or a computer with so much RAM.
(because i know some operating systems can only use less and less ram the older they are, so my guess is that it would install, but would only use some of the RAM..?)

Because the memory organization has changed so much since Windows 3.1 days, I would be surprised if the underlying MS-DOS would run. Higher-level programs from that era, maybe, but MS-DOS had to get close to the hardware for the very purpose of supporting those other programs as an operating system, and it may very well choke with the later memory organization.
Another point to consider is that back then, RAM was measured in kilobytes, perhaps up to a handful of megabytes. And there's probably no way to make use of the two gigs you have.
Your hard disk will also be a challenge for MS-DOS to handle, both because of its size and, perhaps, its organization.
