Frequently Asked Questions...
Should I buy a this computer?
I currently have a Dell Dimension E510 with
Pentium 4 640 3.2GHZ
3GB RAM
150GB HD
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB
Thermaltake TR2 430W Power supply
Windows XP Media Center
My computer is getting kinda slow despite the fact I have some of the best registry scanners and virus scanners out there so I was thinking of upgrading it to this refurbished computer and putting my extra RAM in it and my Video card and power supply in it is it a good idea? I cant really afford anything over $350 at the moment.
OH and FYI my current computer can't handle anything more than a Pentium 4 650, so don't suggest a processor upgrade.

Answer:
Hello SNL;
Hold tight.
First, there is Dell Auction that has some terrific deals if you have a choice of Dell. Got one there a few months ago and at an amazing price of $ 325.
2ed; The old computer that seems slow can be restored to life easily. Here is how.
'My Computer" and RIGHT click on "C: Drive" and go down to "Properties" .When open you will see how much room is left on your drive. Should be at LEAST 1/4 or MORE of room left for best performance. Now, look up to the menu for "TOOLS". When open will see 3 Powerful tools that will improve performance dramatically.
They take a lot of time so patients is required. If you can get in the habit of running one of the first 2 each night before going to bed will make a real difference. Alternate them and let them do their thing while you sleep.
Have 3 Dells. The oldest is almost 7yrs and I love it. Older computers with Linux are hard to beat. Linux will breath a new life in to any computer.
Good luck
