Dell Optiplex GX280 Pc Upgrade (the sims 3)?
HI people. I am a big fan of the sims 2 and bought the sims 3 ages ago for my power book. I then noticed that it could not run on it so i tried it on my mums pc and it was slow. So now i am trying to upgrade my Gx280 to run the sims 3! My pc specs are:
Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.66GHz
2.66 GHz
512mb ram
Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset graphics card
40gb hdd
please tell me what i need to upgrade and dont say can i run it .com and buy a new pc plz!!!!!!!!

You need to upgrade the memory, 2Gb would be a good start, and buy an add-on video card (PCI Expressx16). However, be careful not to get too good a video card, your power supply will not power much, it is very small - a high end video card will overload your power supply (unless you can upgrade the power supply too)...
Also, you depending on which model of the 280 you have, you may have to look for a low profile video card... Only the min tower and tower support full sized video cards.
